The charitable group, Wetherby in Bloom, celebrated it’s thirtieth anniversary in 2019 by creating a new garden area adjacent to the ‘anchor’ and ‘Cluster of Nuts’ car park.
Over the years it has made the town of Wetherby a more colourful place with floral arrangements, such as the hanging baskets which are maintained by WIB.
The group has also donated a number of features to the town, which has enhanced the area. These include the stone three-tiered planter in the Market Place, the Memorial Rose Sculpture overlooking Bridgefoot, the Memorial Arch in the Garden of Rest and several other planters and benches around the town.
