Peer Support Plus

Everyone has physical health and everyone has mental health. We offer free, two-hour, weekly Peer Support Groups where adults in Leeds Metropolitan District can learn to better manage their mental health.

Groups meet either in-person or by Zoom. Membership is free and open-ended. Individuals participate for as long as they feel the benefit.

Our trained volunteer group facilitators look after process. They all have Lived Experience of managing their own mental health and may share their personal experiences with the group.

Members sign up to an agreed set of group aspirations we call Guidelines for Behaviour: treating everyone kindly and non-judgementally, respecting confidences, keeping us all safe.

If you would like to learn from and share your Lived Experience with people who are not part of your everyday life, then why not get in touch? Call 07434 614 829 or email enquire@peersupportplus.org. Our website is peersupportplus.org (contact form) and you can find us at facebook.com/PeerSupportPlus
